i have done the thread searches and internet searches but have not found a step by step guide to swap the tranny for a good one.please help my sc 300 is out of commission.

auto to auto? i dont think you should have too much trouble.
you could always get a shop to do that one for ya.
note the auto trannys are pretty small in comparison to the manual.
aamco comes to mind
