yes i have had this problem off and on for about the last three months. i think i have finaly mabie fixed it.
this might sound kinda strange but check your fluid and if it is low add some. but here is the thing. when i have my fluid at the right level indicated on the stick i do not have 4th so i drained about a qt out and now it seems to be working fine.
also it could be the trans temp sensor. the cold weather i think might be throwing the sensor off.
for more info pm me.
also is this problem all the time or just once and a while

I am having the same issue. i bought my SC in the summer time and never had an issue with my transmission. and now its winter time and its about 40-60 degrees where i live. and my overdrive will not come on. started doing it at the same night it was cold outside.

i am going to check the Trans Tempurature sensor. some people tell me it might be the ECU.. some people telling me that i am low on fluid.. the trans has the right amount of fluid so. i will have to check the trans temp sensor.

IF anybody has any info on this please Post.
