Default Needing help with R154 transmission repair suggestions

Looks like I broke my transmission gear box case its a little metal piece jutting out right around the input shaft. Somehow it broke, I wasn't aware of it till I was inspecting the input shaft then I noticed that It spun freely from the case. Should I weld it back on? JB weld it for cheap? Although I'm afraid that it might fall off which would definatly ruin my day, or some of the JB weld might get on the input shaft itself. Or should I tough it up and get a new gear case and transfer everything from the bellhousing to the extended shift linkage to the new gear case? Any input is appreciated

You could see where it should be attached to.

here it is from the side, sliding on the input shaft. I suppose it covers it so that nothing flies into the gear case. Or since its a pull type slave maybe the release bearing hub rides on it...Not really too sure

You weld cast that well, like at all... I am assuming the JB weld is a joke?

Find a wrecked box is your best bet.

Looks like its called a front bearing retainer, and it can be replaced.

I'll just need to source one
