how much hp are the stock AUTO TRANNY rated to?

also are the GTE auto tranny a direct swap for the GE cars? (reuse the stock GE driveshaft?)

I have heard about people going to about 400 on the stock tranny with out problems but I do not know if they are direct bolt in's from the GTE I know you need a new drive shaft to convert it to a 6-speed so I am geussing so.

Stock transmission wont last long over 300rwhp. To swap in a TT tranny you will need....The tranny, the TT bellhousing, TT torque converter, TT flexplate w/bolts, the rear tranny mount from the SC400, you can use the SC400 driveshaft or go custom. You will need a standalone ECU like the AEM to control the tranny.
