bucking in my car stopped!! yay!!
i had a thread here sometime earlier... about my engine bucking... now its stopped... it was my throttle position sensor... i had it re-adjusted... not my car runs perfect... :D
|
good to know and thanks for sharing this VERY useful info . Is your sc300 stock or does it have some engine/electronic mods?
|
can you describe the symptoms of your bucking? Mine is bucking after being warm randomly. Sometimes the car runs great, other times it runs like total ****, stalling out and bucking under everything but WOT.

mines doing the same but i think it's my tune. only happening when i decelerate, foot off the accelerator between 2k and 1k rpms. i wonder if it's got anything to due w/ the tps...

my car was bucking letting off the gas.. and pressing the gas... letting off the gas.. it would buck.. stepping on the gas a little it would buck.. but.. wot it doesnt buck.. stepping on it a little will seem like it has no power for about half a second.. then.. all a sudden it jerks and bucks and has power.. its been a while.. i dont really remember exactly what it did.. but.. i hope it helps.. and the tps was easily adjusted.. remover the plastic valve cover.. then loosen the screw on the tps... enough to move it only.. then turn it counter clock wise.. til it can move anymore.. then.. tighten the screw.. hope this helps..

Right on man, glad to hear it's running smooth.
|
glad that helped you.. :D

fixed but not due to physical tps. tps setting in aem. car runs soooo much better. thanks for the suggestion anyway.
|
+1 fixed my bucking issue, haha vote this for sticky
to add a little more info, turning the TPS CCW reduces the voltage, mine was set at .60v with throttle closed, twisted it back to .40v and problem disappeared. |
anyone have a picture of where TPS is located on car. I need to do the same adjusting to mine and see if issue resolves..

I've heard this also resolves the clunk when we shift the car to reverse, right?
