BFI question pls help

Default BFI question pls help

ok so ive done the intake box and made the chamber under the headlight. Now i need to open up the flaps but it says i have to remove the metal strip bars? where are they located n how do i do that?

Yea i did all that. i followed bfi 1. but the part where you pull down the flap on the grill of the front bumper they say "The metal strip bars are removed and refitted once the leading edge is down". my problem is i cant find the metal strips and the plastic flap wont go down. any body at all had this problem?

dont worry about the metal strips, and the front bumper might be getting in the way, just pull out the plastic tabs hiolding it in and pull it down and put something in there to hold it down, dont make it more complicated than it really is

thanks! got it done! those damn plastic scrivets were stripped n was a you know wut to get out.

hey guys i dont know if i did something wrong, my car got louder but i dont really feel a difference. In fact it feels slower. is a bfi on the 400 less noticeable?

should be more niticeable, did you make a heat shield to put on top of the air box and make sure the sides were insulated as well?

no didnt seal the sides yet. i got a feelin its not air tight chamber under the headlight. hey do i have to seal anything on the battery side of the car?
