Got my new 4" to dual 3" Setup done!
So the Lexus FINALLY has a full exhaust on it...
I still have to get some actual tips for it. I had my exhaust guy cut some polished stainless pipe from an extra 3" downpipe that I had... he turned it into some temporary "tips" for the time being. They don't really look so hot in the factory bumper cut-outs since they are centered and only 3" diameter, but that will be fixed when I can get some actual tips to fill the spot.
And the car is just a bit louder than a stock Supra (aka, quiet), with an exhaust that will be able to support 900whp+ (though I won't ever go there).
So all in all, 4" pipe is NOT too big for those haters out there...and if you get a good exhaust place to make some small modifications then it has plenty of ground clearance (on the Supra / SC300). I did have to modify the stock WOTM 4" pipe slightly, but it improved ground clearance significantly and didn't effect flow at all.
The pics are deceiving on the ground clearance due to where I park...the car will clear a curb/speedbump now with no issues. Before I was scraping every damn speedbump even at 5mph. I am sure I have at least 7-8" of clearance between the pipe and the ground now.
I must say, I was extremely impressed with the attention to detail. It's not TIG'd, but the MIG welds look really clean...and the labor cost me under $300 for:
WOTM 4" DP -> 4" vband -> cut & modified WOTM 4" MP -> Flowmaster Y-Pipe -> Dual 3" vbands -> Custom Dual SS304 3" piping -> Magnaflow Oval 3" in/out offset mufflers -> Custom 3" Polished SS tips (temporary)...welded on 4 hangers...one on the 4" pipe, 1 on the pipe just past the "Y", and 1 on each muffler.
If anyone ever needs work done in NW Florida (near Cantonment/Pensacola, FL), I know the guy to go to for outstanding work and attention to detail (he even used a level while installing everything so it would sit as even as possible).
Now for the pics (yes my left bumper cutout is dirty from my previous single exit exhaust):
