ran into an odd problem today, last nite i was driving around and went to pass someone ...after that whenever i went to give the car some gas, i would just hear air escaping from somewhere and the motor would not build any boost. i thought i had just blown a pipe loose, but got under the car and all the hoses and pipes are tight as could be. when the car is not moving, it will built boost no problem, but when im driving its not doing ****. put the car on a lift this morning and tightened the spring for the BOV and that seemed to fix the problem, and its building boost fine now. just wondering is this early signs of my BOV going bad, or something with the turbos?

 

What kind of bov is it? I had a similar problem when I had a greddy rs I switched to a hks ssq and I'm good now.

 

OT, but i have a problem wit my BOV... it seems that my SSQV isnt whistling like it used to, all i really hear now is air coming out of the intake, ive loosened the bov, but still not whistling as mcuh, only when im under a lot more load like 5th gear hard acc.. any ideas?

 

mine is a blitz dd bov. yea, mine wouldnt do anything when it was under any kind of load. but i just tightened the spring on it and now it works ok
