Default Humming??

the past two days when I start my car it starts fine but when the engine settles back down to right below 1000RPM it humms??? As the car gets to normal operating temperature it mostly goes away and is almost non-exhistant. Power steering is what i thought first but under stress it doesn't get any worse. So my next though might be alternator??, belts?? i am really at a loss. It is not a vibration but a hum. I searched, i don't think it would be motor mounts cause she is stable 70+- MPH. any help would be highly appreciated.

possibly the tranny mount. I just changed mine and its an amazing difference. My humming noise was around 1900 rpms.. It is unreal the amount of noise a new tranny mount gets rid of. I have 113000 miles on mine..
