Default sc300 vs is300

well i went cruising this past weekend and raced against a is300 to see how my sc3 could keep up w/ an is300..anyways, from a dig i beat him all the way till 3rd gear then had to slow down b/c of cars in front of me..then we tried rollng in 2nd, he got me by one car length all through the race..i'm pretty sure i would've kept up if my car wasn't so pack w/ people, plus my rpm was hella low so you know how that is..SUPER LAG..

I drive my GF's automatic IS300 and it feels much faster than my 5spd SC300. Her rev band is much smoother. Also, despite the ~10hp handicap, it is also ~300lbs lighter. We see a weight-to-power ratio of 15.21 (is300) to 15.53 (sc300). So, Stock for Stock, I would put my money on the IS300 (with neutral drop if auto ).

my auto sc300 was one of the slowest cars ive ever owned .the car is just too heavy to go anywhere out from a dig .the vvti is 300 has more torque .and please dont netural drop the tranny ,that is the easiest way to kill the tranny and rear end

Its my GF's IS300, therefore when I drive it I have to drive it like a granny. Don't worry guys, I don't condone this kind of behavior. I just meant that if I would put my money on either car, it would be the IS300 /w 5 spd manual or a neutral drop. I don't believe an 5at IS300 could beat a 5spd SC300 without it.

Hold the brake while slightly depressing the gas. When ready to launch, release brake and floor it.
