How many people have done it? I was talking to someone about M34LNCH's car and how he's hopefully going to crack into the single digits, and the question came up. Off the top of my head I can only think of two: turbo6 and Chris Threadgill.

I know Jon Pratkanis (SteelCitySupra) has a built 1,000 HP RSP SC but I haven't seen anything from the track about it, just pictures.

I really wasn't sure where this belonged but I figured this section was more about drag racing than the general SC400/300 section. If I'm missing anybody, post pics and times!

That would be turbo6 that I mentioned. He holds the SC record with a 9.3 with a NA block no less.

qwikturbo's car. Last year maybe. A run or two after this he bent 4 of the pushrods. Car was going in for a full rebuid, but I haven't heard anything since then. 9.59

Pretty much yes. These are cars running on high boost. Turn the boost down a bit and keep the rpms low so you not always making boost.

Was he running an ls1 or small block chevy? 1jzgte's & 2jzgte's don't have pushrods.


Does clint poehler even have his car any more? What about SW? I haven't seen it since I lived out in TX.

as far as i know chris' car was sold, and then put up for sale again detuned to 550hp? somethin like that.

Yeah, I remember seeing that Chris' car was sold. So we've got Chris (quikturbo), Hal (turbo6), and SW?

Is there any sort of listing anywhere on say the top 10-20 fastest SC's? Gives me motivation.
