Angry Help, low idle

i got an exhaust shop to delete my secondary CAt but i drove with an open exhaust for a day and cracked the header, i took it back and they fixed that too, when the header was cracked, the CEL was on, now that the header is fixed, it isnt on BUT the car is idling very low and it feels like i may have lost some power(im a little annoyed, shouldnt i have gained power from a more open midpipe with no cat). i reset the ECU after i got it back fixed and the CEL went away, but what could be causing the low idle??? i really need help, thanks in advance guys

Fact- Low coolant will sometimes cause your car to idle low. There should be an idle adjustment screw somewhere on the throttle body.

If your car is N/A it needs back pressure, sometimes opening it up will result in power loss. Just a suggestion.

What sensor, exactly, tells the ecu to adjust the idle?

I wouldnt adjust on the throttle body. Id fix the problem first.

i believe it's the IACV- intake air control valve

on my mk4 tt it was located on the rear of the intake manifold (closer to the firewall).. not sure for the 2jz-ge's

that can contribute to the low/off idle..?

i have the same problem too but i know whats wrong with my car.
my distributor cap is broken and is causing the car to idle low and eventually shut off. and there is a electric charge hitting this one part next to the MAF.
and my question is; will a broken distributor cap cause an electric charge to the ignition wiress? i have more symptoms if u need them.
