Default Noob Question Help Asap!

i have done a little bit researching. but cant do anymore cause im leavin the country to go to the philippines and i juss purchased a 1993 sc300 auto and i want to do a 5 speed swap. can someone give me the list of the things i need? it has about 42,500K on it. i dont want no engine swap. i just want it to be manual.help me please?

Read this whole thread it might help out...I dont know if thats exactly all you need...but remember member in thread is doing the swap on a different motor so you dont need all the things listed (your should be different) i'm in the same process...i'm just gonna go to my lexus dealership and order from there.https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...=280077&page=3

ive read around. and my other option is, I found a 5 spd sc300. with like 140,xxx miles on it. should i juss get a new motor? which one would be cheaper? i like the auto one cause it only has like 40k on motor/chasis. what do you guys think?

I would get the one with 40k miles, swap in a 5spd and then slap a turbo on that barely broken-in engine and call it a day.

how much would you think it would cost? just to swap in the 5spd? im going to turbo it, justnot yet though.i just want to know whats needed. would it be cheaper and better than getting a new engine. because of emissions and stuff?

Sorry to be blunt. You need to do more research. That's the bottom line. You're asking very detailed questions which will snowball into 10 more detailed questions about something else. And so on and so on.
