just a simple noob question on the 1jz
well.... i fired up the motor tonight. its struggling to idle. im running on the usdm 2jzgte plugs. do i need different plugs? i read a post about NGK 6059 do i have to run those? my other question is... does the 1j have a maf sensor? because i went to a local supra shop today, and asked the guy about it. his answer was, all he knows is that the 2jz have a map sensor and a maf sensor. does the 1jz have a mafs????!?!? i know i dont have a plug for it.. but i just want to make sure that if it has one or not.

other question is i have a 5spd originally. i got a auto harness and auto ecu. my car doesnt start by using the key. but it starts with direct power. do i have to mod the harness in order to crank with the key?
