Yeah i guess to my butt dyno its feels slow compared to a stock evo. I work at an auto auction so i get to drive the **** out of alot of cars and, to be honest, I expected alot more out of a v-10

LS1 FTW! If you have the money get the V-10. You can get a LS1 alot cheaper and there are ALOT of go fast goodies for them.

You can get a good starter LS1 on ebay for $2300. You can get a good starter V10 for $7500. Once you put the difference between the two into the LS1, it will STOMP the V10.

There are soooo many nuts out there that could do a LS1 swap into anything in their sleep. I could name 4 people right off the top of my head within a 20 mile radius of me in SW MO!

There was a Viper engine in a display case in the engineering building at Michigan State. The engine is the size of an executive's desk. Sure, you have ten inches of room in front of your 2.5L, but you have zero chance of fitting that Viper engine. It is hard to describe how massive the engine is until you see it in person.

I you want muscle, the LS1 is not a bad idea since it is so upgradeable and every GM guy know how to work with one.

You could always go with a 2UZ from Tundra. Eric from TTC (the UZ turbo manifold and V160 swap guy) has a 5.5L stroker kit for the 2UZ that would make a sick car. There are supercharger kits for the 2UZ at around $5k, and you could throw together a twin turbo kit for around $10k.

Do it!
it would be a rare swap.
Install and spray it with NOS.

It is much cooler swap than putting in LS engine.
