Default Any known problems with swapping in a JDM motor in our cars?

I tried searching but I was getting nowhere... Anyway, I have heard problems about MKIV guys swapping in JDM 2JZGTEs. Like the traction control lights staying on even when it should be off, and the CEL coming and going. Also something about motor mounts not fitting. I'm not so sure on that last one. And finally the dreaded heat from the engine coming into the cabin, but I think almost everyone has that problem already, and if not, they will eventually.
