Default motor mount question.

hey there. im currently doing a 1jz swap. both of the mounts are busted on the 2jz, and the 1jz came in didnt have any mounts. so i went to a local supra shop (autobanh (tommy) ) he gave me a set of these mounts for 150

i've been searching but i still couldnt find the answer. would these bolt onto the 1jz or i'd need some different brackets?

thanks
-stan

Wow TRD mounts. I don't see why they would not fit if you are using the 1jz brackets. If you are trying to put those on a stock sc300, they won't fit. Hm maybe somebody can chime in with a certain answer.

Not sure how similar the 1jz and 2jz blocks are but those mounts will not fit on the brackets for the -GE engine. You will need the shorter -GTE brackets.

Tons of info in this thread:

i did 98 supra tt motormounts with my 1j swap. I was also told i needed the motor mount brackets too..sad to say but they looked exactly alike when comparing them. I went ahead and put them on since i had them but Im almost positive they were the same ( diff. part number though) Cant find my pic but there is NO visual difference
