Will the pumpkin and diff from a 300 work in a 400?

if your car is a daily driver, I would suggest putting the welded into your car only if you fully understand the ramifications of a welded diff. Your wheels will be rolling in unison both on straights (a good thing) and on twisties (a bad thing). As a drift car, the welded is a cost-effective alternative. But, on a daily, it is only suggested if you know what you are getting into.

but, ultimately, it will work.

Thanks, yeah I know. One of my 240s was welded just fine for daily.

what year is the 300 and is it 5spd or auto? and what year is your 400? they could have a different rear end gear ratios.
