Default Rebuilding a W58

I have a buddy with a broken w58, second gear and the counter shaft are broken. With the costs involved of getting the parts is it worth it to rebuild, or am I better off getting another?

i believe u can use the internals from a mk3 supra just use the housing of the w58. you can find a whole new w58 for around 400 t0 600 bucks if to go as far as performance same amount of money and effort can get u a r154
