Default Vacuum tubing question

What do people use to replace the factory tubing? I was fiddling with one under the hood and it ended up ripping... a bit too easily for my tastes. After 14 years, I think it might be time to replace some of them. What is a good replacement for the tubing in our cars? Do people recommend the generic silicon tubing all over fleabay? I don't want any crazy colors and such just something that is a good suitable replacement that's OEM quality or better. Thanks.

Silicone hoses are the way to go. Most companies will produce them in gloss black as well as those neon colors. There is nothing more frustrating than hunting down dried and cracked vacuum lines.

Anybody have a rough estimate of how much of each diameter hose is needed to do a conversion to silicone hoses?

I took a piece of the stock tubing into AutoZone and matched it with their vac hose and then bought 15 ft. If the original can go 20+ years, I'm sure it will be fine to use it again for another 20+ years.
