What kind of motor is this?
I had someone say it is a 1jz, but it don't look like it to me...
couple more pics to determine:
btw, I just got this car..a '98 SC300
I also have a few questions:
1. My driver side front and rear turn signal flashes quicker than my right side...Today, the left front signal went dead. My right headlight assembly has moisture inside, then I fixed the loose harness. My left rear still blinks fast, though my front left doesn't work. Anybody know the problem?
2. I had the hood repaired, when I tried to use washer fluid to get bugs out my windshield..Nothing came squirting out...I checked that the hose wasn't connected. I don't know where to connect it...Does anybody know?
Thanks!

if you look at it closely, there is a 2jzge sticker on the cam cover.
it's the supra non-turbo motor. you could boost it, but by 300 rwhp you need a new headgasket to lower compression. by 450rwhp it is recommended to get your bottom end built, or swap to the gte bottom end. I would just get it built since you need to open up your motor to change the headgasket anyway.
