Default HKS 1JZ Twin Upgrade??!!

Searching Ebay this morning from random things had me come across this in my search.

It would be interesting and a nice peice of HKS history if it is real. Anyone know if it's legit?

Default Toyota Soarer w/ Huge Ball Bearing Turbo

One of my buddy's has the Japanese version of the SC300(Rt Hand Drive Toyota Soarer) and actually put a twin turbo Supra motor in it. A month or 2 after the swap he opted out and got a 30-35lb Ball Bearing Turbo and it is so much faster! I can't remember exactly how big it was but it hangs with R1's and Spanks 750's & 600's hand down!

I don't know how hard/expensive it is but it seems like he had better results with a huge single turbo rather than 2 smaller turbo's.

There's a guy on SF that had two GT28R's fabricated to fit his stock 1jz mani. I could just imagine the spool with that probably better than stock.

Yea single is the best option well simpler option easy to deal with 1 Turbo than 2. Did your friend get a GT30 or GT35 turbo is that what you're saying? Not sure what a 30-35lb BB Turbo is.
