Heat coming from ebrake

Default Heat coming from ebrake

Hello everyone, I just jointed this forum. I have a problem with my SC400 and I need yall help. There is a lot of hot air coming from the ebrake boot, it so hot that I have to keep A/C on most of the time. I have already check for exhaust/cat leak but I could not located where all the heat coming from. Please help me out. Thanks

Heat from the transmission tunnel. That simple.

Your solution would be to remove the center console and add additional heat reflective material.

sounds like your cat is clogged an over heating, remove and inspect the cat converter.

Thanks, I will try that over the weekend. Is there any DIY tutorial on this site showing how to remove the center console? I search but the only thing come up is the door panel.
