Default Where do you get parts for your 1JZ swap???

OK so say you swap in a 1JZ and leave your stock 5 speed tranny in your SC300 and a head gasket blows, where do you get one???
Where do you get a oil filter??
Fuel filter??
Valve cover gasket???
Power steering parts??
A/C parts????
I really want to do a 1JZ over a 2JZ in price but what happens when I need parts????
Cause a 2JZ was imported in the US so I can get parts at any toyota dealer but the 1JZ was not so am I in a pickle????

deff. do some searching.. also on supraforums on the mkIII 1J swap forum. You can get ANY 1J part from many different places-dealer in the USA.. getting gaskets-parts is not as issue. In fact most 2J parts work and are the same. pretty much everything you listed can be bought at any dealer or parts store anywhere.. they pretty much are all 2J parts

Oh well then that answers my question, Thanks. Im probably going to do that 1JZ swap then. You "yelloa3gti" inspired me. I read your post and know I want to do that swap also. does a 1JZ have a iron block also??? can it push 15PSI safely without losing commpression or blowing up in 6 months???

My advice to you is to research it more.... Everything can be found out through searching.
