Question sc400 95 heater puzzle

The only hard questions are those that you don't know the answer to.

I have a heater that will only blow hot at RPMs above 2000 RPM. Of course engine must be already hot and temp set appropriately. No air conditioner codes appeared during test.

Also if I turn off the A/C the idle will drop to about 300 RPM.

I think they are unrelated, but..

Any ideas?

RPM is most likely the Throttle Positioning Sensor.

As for the heat, check your coolant level.

top your coolant tank off.

Engine related question moved to engine forum.
