Default Intake question

I was just wondering what is the difference in aftermarket intakes for the vvt models to non vvt models. I have a 93 sc300 so I was wondering could I use 97+ is300, gs300, and sc300 intakes. Or Just 92-96 sc300 and gs300 intakes.

From what I know most of the basic intakes should fit all 92-00 sc's or any 2jz's for that matter, the only intake that is solely made for the vvt-i motors are the SRT intake systems. Since their intakes are accompanied with a piggy back chip you install onto your ECU.
