Any 97+ Folks w/working Tach & 2jzgte swap?
I have been fighting this battle for quite some time now, and I am not sure if maybe the 97+ are different or if I am missing something. The back of the gauge cluster is definitely different (cannot do resistor mod).
Getting nothing with...
Pin A16 (black/white wire) from ECU to 8920 White wire
IK1-8 (light green wire) to 8920 Violet wire
*have a good 12V & ground
JDM ECU...car runs great, just can't seem to get the tach working.
Thanks in advance, anyone that has actually accomplished this task.
