Unhappy Timing Belt help... and a little plug wire advice on SC400

Today, after a long 5 days of draining diesel out of my fuel system... noticed some other problems.(this has nothing to do with the diesel thing)

1. My timing belt was changed 18k ago at 96k, im at 114k now....there is a tiny crack that looks like it has even gotten bigger since last night possibly. (checked at advanced auto today) it looks like its just on the top of the belt, ridges still seem alright. is there anyway to patch this?my guess is no but it would save me so much money i dont have if there is.
and to my knowledge, the motor is an interference motor, so if i break it im screwed?

2. Last month I had new NGK Iridium plugs and then new wires put in as well. two of the wires have been damaged and taped back together..... im not sure why.(the shop put them in, i have not touched them... im going to bring it back) i noticed it b/c some sparks started flying and i shocked myself a few times touching them. do i need all those plastic covers to go back on the engine?

3. That thing on the outside of the belt that holds the wires in line, the screw end of that broke, if i give it enough slack, will it not mess with my belt?

USE ALL THE PICS FOR REFERENCE... I'D APPRECIATE ANY HELP!

ps, this car is costing me a fortune!!

I would definitely take it back to the meat-head who did your wires.
In fact I would have him get you new wires, and you replace them.

Timing belt needs to come off...gotta bite the bullet and do it over.
I wouldn't trust it, and as far as I know, there is no patching method.

The chunk taken out of the belt, looks like it was caught up on something and tore during the install.
The time since then has allowed it to stretch and lose pieces

Sorry.

OH **** IM SO GLAD YOU SAID THAT! I called over to the shop today and he said the wires had gotten caught in the timing belt and he taped them back together...i told him i had a patch missing from my timing belt and it only had 18,000 miles, and i asked if it could be from that.. he said probably not but maybe, and to bring it by tommorow... im gettin that **** fixed free i hope, cause thats deff. not right
