T56 adapter?
One of my friends brought up an interesting question...I've searched and can't find anywhere that it's been discussed (maybe I'm not searching right). He mentioned how guys run GM TH350's, TH400's, powerglides, etc. on their Supras...has anybody ever put a GM T-56 6-speed on one?
Sort of curious because my roommate is like the master of finding cheap F-body stuff for his car, so in theory it'd probably be a lot more affordable than saving up for the Getrag.

Yes people do use the T56. I was going that route with my Supra. They also use the Ford 9" rear end. Some Aussie people make it so that you just use the Pumkin and you still have IRS.

If you could link me to where I could look at the T56 conversion stuff, I'd greatly appreciate it.
I was surprised, I talked to a local Supra guy tonight who's making ~830 RWHP through a powerglide, and I guess I assumed he'd have a beefy rear end but he's still using a stock TT auto rear end with the stock TT diff.
He wants to upgrade to a TRD but I thought that was awesome to hear about the stock rear end parts with more than 100K on them.
