Default 95 SC400 ect problem

He guy's,

Having a problem with the electronic control transmission. Here's the problem, when I move the switch to power the control unit is not engaging and changing the shifting points to a higher rpm. It runs in normal mode at all times. Is there a sensor in the transmission that would cause this. Also, I did a diagnostic check by jumping the e1 and te1 terminals and the OD light and check engine light blinks rapidly which indicates not codes in the ecm. But I only thought the check engine light was suppose to blink, however; if I press the Overdrive button to over drive off the OD light goes out. Any suggestions.

Thanks for any suggestions, I have not seen any post after advance searching for nearly an hour.

I'm searching around and found this thread, this is the same problem I'm having in my 93 sc400. The ect switch isn't doing anything, no light, no higher rpms held, nothing. Anyone help us out? I'll search a little more as well.
