Default Smoke near passenger side.

First of all i searched. Now, after washing my car, i took it for a quick go around the neighborhood to get all the excess water off. (I do this all the time). Now when i came home and pulled the car in the garage, i noticed a little bit of smoke coming from the gap *hood and fender*, so i decided to open the hood and see what it was. I came from around the TRAC Unit, and around the heater solenoid. I thought it was just water that got in and steamed up, but it had a distinct odor to it; one which i have smelled before, but dont remember what it is. My temperature meter in my car measured normal, so i dont think my car was overheating, and plus how could it overheat in such a short peroid of time (say about 3-4 minutes). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
