Backyard Mechanics?
Hey, I'm wondering, since this is the performance section, how many people in here actually work on their own cars, and don't take it to a shop?

Me.
Ive yet to take any of my cars to a shop. Maybe if its something that.. I truly cant handle. |
I do most of my own work, except when I need some special air tools or a lift. Then I take it to 104th Street Auto! (Aliga's brother).

The only reason's why I would take my car to a shop:
1) I'm 300 miles away from anyone with the tools necessary to make a repair 2) I don't have the equipment to clean the block, grind the cams, etc. 3) I have billions of dollars and drive a McLaren F1; and thus forced to take the car to a McLaren tech. |
