Default Cheaper Alternative to a "real" SR Intake?

We all know the Injens are like $200+.

What about somethign cheaper BESIDES the BFI, im looking for the bling

I was thinking about purchasing a 3" Intercooler kit and a MAF/Filter Adapter on ebay. Total can be gotten for around $120 or so.

using the 90*pipe, 70* pipe, couplers and the maf adapter, I was thinking this would work. I would need to plumb the 2 hoses, but thats not a problem.

Plausible?

if you want sound, just lift up the airbox lid.
