lightweight battery
Im pretty sure my battery is going bad, going to loadtest it tommorow afternoon. If its bad I hear a lot of people talk about switching to a lightweight battery to lose frontend weight, want to know what is the lightest, still with enough amps to run the system and not shorten alt. life.

OK so the battery was ran down, but no dead cells or shorted plates. Charged the battery and checked the system for a drain, and there was one. Opened the trunk and the c.d. changer was buzzing and whirring, so I pushed the eject button and it stopped, and the drain was gone. Wanting to know if anyone knows whats going on with the c.d. changer. Also the radio power button was off, but when I turned it on it said c.d. err.

If you want to lose front-end weight, why not just relocate the battery to the trunk. Also, the added weight in the back will give you a little better traction (nothing noticeable i bet though).

Obviously you would need to creatively throw together a lightweight mount, but would you need new battery terminals with this type of battery?
(hilarious that they spell out dots in actual braille...should have had a seeing-eye walking stick spelling braille auto in the beach)
