You havent searched man, most common thing, which has happened to mine is the solenoid under the hood that connects to the heater valve is dead. Another problem could be the hose that connects to it might have come off.

I'm still stuck on my heater problem. I replaced the hcv with one from Ali(member on the bords). I replaced the radiator b/c it was bad, I replaced the thermostat for the just in case, I replaced the radiator cap b/c it looked old and still no heat. My last thought is the heater core but I have no leaks, although it could be clogged up. Now I cant get the d@mn dash off. All the bolts I can think of are off, wire harnesses undone. It will move like its lose but I think I'm missing a bolt or two. Anyone have a diagram or picture of the bolts that need to be undone? Sorry to hijack your thread but I'm cold my d@mn self. 20 degrees this morning, 10 the other day.

Check the small things first, see if you have enough coolant, blah blah, see if the hoses are in place, make sure the solenoid is working. There are tons of small things that dealers will screw you over with, and if he isnt telling you what it is, then most likely its something you can fix yourself really easily.

Maybe it had a hole in it that leaked? Did you replace it or just pull it and plug it back in?

Ok i swapped the hoses. Now i have heat.

Can i just leave it like that and run the car fine? Will it mess up anything? Dangerous in any way?? I live in san francisco, and the weather is always cold so i don't use the cold air that much.

So the heat works, is there a way to fix it so i can put my hoses back?

I heard it was the solenoid, but where can i get one? and where is it located??
