Default Megasquirt!

Does anyone have any updates on using megasquirt in their sc300 turbocharged vehicle? I am considering using it and want to know if it is a real savings over the AEM EMS. If i did all my own wiring, etc. why wouldn't it be??

Do any of your friends have megasquirt working perfectly on 1JZ or 2JZ Toyota cars? By perfectly, I mean perfect driveability and throttle transitions, etc. Please let me know, I'm very interested!

Question

I tried getting in touch with that user on www.msefi.com that allegedly got his 1jz-gte powered truck to work perfectly on Megasquirt using sequential injection. Anyone else had any luck getting in touch with him?

any luck on this one, i used to belong to a volvo tuning site and alot of guys there had tremendous success with megasquirt realizing previously unattainable power levels and getting better gas mileage. I am interested too in the use of it in an SC, seems like id be better off getting just a 2jzgte engine and installing megasquirt than i would be going to all the trouble to swap in stock wiring to have stock brain functions.

a megasquirt solution is in the works, will require you to swap out a cam wheel though.

theres something to control the vvt which is like an on/off switch but the vvti which is continuously variable I havent heard of yet. your best bet would be using megasquirt as a piggy back and let it control your injectors

Bump for an old thread! I am wondering if anyone (now-a-days) is running megasquirt. I have a buddy who is wanting to try it out on my car, but I want to see what all would be involved.
