manual trany diffrences...
are there different toyota/lexus manual tranys that will bolt/spline up to 2jz -gte. is the supra trany the r154? is the r154 the only manual trany that will fit the gte? is the manual trany that comes on the na 2jz a r154? if there are different manual tranys what are the diferences. (probly gearage but are any an "easyer" swap?)
answers would be cool.

not to sound rude, but if you searched you would have found a ton different info than what you gave us. the w58 is the manual trans that comes with the na supra and sc3. you can use the v160/161 which are the supra 6 speeds that came on the tt's and a rare few na's in japan. the r154 is out of the soarer tt and mk3 turbo. the shifter is in a different location for the mk3 and has to be extended to fit into the shifter hole. all of these will fit up with the correct bell housings for the motor. i made a write-up on this info also.
