Default 2jzgte converting rear end

i have a few questions on swaping my 2jzgte in my sc300.
im not sure whats best for daily driving (and maybe going
single turbo later on) either go for tt auto lsd
rear end or just keep the stock rear
and get the TRD auto lsd.

what are the differences as in gas mileage
and i know the gear ratios will be differet.
i just want to know the pro's and con's.

thanks for the help.

I was pretty sure the TT auto had like a 3.71 rear end or somthing similar. Its ideal for a performance auto platform with street driveability. I think its also larger then the sc's rear end and holds more power. Grab a used auto diff and put that in. If you ever decide to change the gears or get a different lsd, you will have soo many different choices with the TT setup.

im having problem locating a tt auto lsd rear end so i was just weighing
my choices. i know the tt rear end pumpkin is larger then the stock sc300.
the tt auto has a 3.76 ratio and the stock sc300 is 4.2 something ratio.
i was gonna run the stock rear end with TRD lsd so i just want to know how
well that works and driveablity and gas consumption.

what do you think i should do?

It might be easier replacing your diff and ring gear then locating a complete auto tt rear end.

The auto tt carrier housing is the same size as the auto sc300. The 6spd carrier is larger though.

Most obvious question is whats your budget? Are you looking for a stock auto tt diff or trd unit? The ring and pinion can be bought from the dealer. Not sure on price since I've not replaced one yet.

anyone running the DaveH lsd unit? how's that compare to the trd lsd?
also i heard the stock sc300 gear ratio is good for drag racing with trd lsd but sacrificing top end speed.
whats the majority 2jzgte swap using?
