Need help with Tranny swap !
So I own a 95 supra N/A and a 92 Lexus SC300. I was already planning on doing a tt/6-spd swap on the supra and my tranny on my SC is going bad real fast. So I decided to swap the supra tranny with the SC tranny. So I look up everything I am suppose to do to uninstall the tranny in the supra, and I get almost done when I run into a problem. Where the tranny connect to the engine there are a few 17mm bolts and a few 14 mmm ones. I get all of the off underneath and on the sides of the tranny, but then there are the top 2 17mm bolts on the passenger side and 1 14mm bolt on the driver side near the top of the tranny that I just can't get a good angle and reach too actually wrench them out. Is there some special tool I need to get to those, or does anyone have any suggestions on how I can finish this ? I am sooo close... only 3 bolts are in my way !

I assume this trans is on a jack right now? Trans mount removed?
Disconnect the driveshaft from the trans. And lower the jack slowly...letting the trans and engine kinda go down at an angle...the input shaft will keep the two together. The new angle should help you get at those bolts. Loosen the bolts so they're finger tight, then jack the trans back up to normal level.
This is what I had to to for my SR20/240sx swap. Not sure if it would be the same or even a good idea with the Supra/SC

You will have to use the longest extension you can find, with an elbow between the socket and extension you will have to reach and look for the bolts from behind the tranny. Go back to the output shaft of the tranny and look up and forward, you will be able to see the bolts. Hope this helps.
