Default Idle Air Control Valve

So as of late my car has been dying upon start up and twice going down the road and decelerating. No check engine light, took it to Lexus, they only got it to simulate the problem after they called me to say they couldn't get it to repeat the problem, so not enough time to diagnose.

Does this sound logical, anyone ever replaced one, had similiar problems?

If you know someone with a pre VVT-i sc300 in your area, ask if you can test it with their IACV. It's located on the throttle body just forward of the butterfly facing the front of the car; only 2 screws hold it in place. It will only take a couple of minutes to test it.
