Default Short and Simple.

I changed my spark plugs. After putting the whole intake system back, my car shifts really harsh. Really sudden, non-smooth shifts. How can this be fixed?

Short and simple. Did you save your old plugs? Try putting back your old plugs.

^ short and simple: that is completely retarded advice as the spark plugs do not in anyway affect transmission function

I disagree.

Also, make sure your air freshener did not get dislodged. This commonly causes jerky shifts.

Never heard that one before.. I will have to look in there next time mine starts to do this... oh wait a minute, I don't have an auto anymore...

I would double check everything you moved and see if you just need a minor adjustment.

Thanks for the replies everyone. As of now, did the whole ignition system. I think it might be the TPS, as it is turned all the way one direction. But I stripped one of the screws. :'(

Haha it also doesn't help that the Check Engine light turns on and off whenever it feels like it.

By any chance do you think you mixed up some vacuum lines or miss to put one back in?

Okay, so I have adjusted the TPS to spec and the Throttle Valve cable to spec. It shifts fine when the AC is off. When it's on, a very slight jerk.
