SC400DRFT

I've been thinking real hard on whether i should get a 1JZ or a 2JZ swap w/transmission...what do you guyz think would be better and easier to install? Also, where would be a good place to find either engine...i.e ebay, junkyards? Please post pics too so i can see how it turned out for you guyz....thanks for the help, Ethan

im with ive been trying to look and see how much info i could find but there is much info ive seen people doing both no one really comparing

Absolutely no question the 2jz is the most appropriate engine. You'll just have to keep looking... eBay, Google, etc... sooner or later the right one will show up.

I agree with phil

Although its not the easiest to install of the 3 ways, nor the cheapest... but the 2jz does much better in this chassis than the 1jz does. Fatter powerband, more potential, etc.

i see what makes the 2jz swap so hard when thats what they come with what are the typical problems with 2j swap?is it all with the wiring?
