Default where to buy exhaust piping??

after doin my swap i was running stock piping with no mufflers. the hangers on the mufflers rusted and broke off. so when i got my mufflers i needed them put on ASAP cuz i was getting tired of a loud car. so i took it next door to meineke to get the mufflers put on... well let me tell you. they did the worst job i have ever seen. and charge me more then normal to get it done. and it looks horrible. i mean i can crap out something that looks prettier then what they did. total waste of my money. now im looking to do the exhaust myself. i sould have done this from the beginning, but i didnt have the time. so now im looking for exhuast piping. does anyone know where i can order some for a good price. i was thinking v-bands - 3" from the DP - 3" cat- y pipe- split to 2.25 for the mufflers. do u guys think i would need a resonator?

You can always check ebay. I was going to purchase a few mendrel bent tubes from there, but just took my car to a local shop.

burnsstainless.com jegs.com summit racing.com all of which have piping. What type of machine are you going to use to weld, tig, mig, fluxcore? If you have the skills or means to get it tigged I would go with the burns piping. I love their stuff and you can get different piping like incolnel and titanium for whatever your needs are.

Thumbs up

use stainless steel piping. it's light, cools faster, and doesn't rust like mild steel .

keep amperage/voltage down and use the burns, you wont regret it. If you have the ability to backpurge the pipe by all means do so with some 304 stainless on some stainless pipe and u wont regret it. It will be the last exhaust you will have to buy. gl and if u have any more q's dont be afraid to throw them out.
