BFI Intake and 100 oct = A different car
So I didn't do the full BFI on my intake. So far, I just cut a huge rectangle in front of the air filter (no heat shield yet). With a K&N drop-in, the engine howl is nuts.
So then I filled the tank with Sunoco 100oct race gas (love that smell) 35 miles later... its like I have a different car. The engine runs better, smoother, and climbs faster.
Granted I'm not going to dump $90 bucks in race gas every time I fill the SC300 up, but I may half and half it from time to time.

I had that setup for a couple years, works great. I just put a shroud from the core-support to the airbox, down the sides as well to allow the air to come in from the lower opening.
