Default OBD for auto to manual swap?

hey guys, I have a 96 SC3 and Im really considering doing the swap, but I was wondering if there would be any issues involving my OBD2...I would be swapping a 92 W58 tranny with the manual ECU...if anyone could give me any info, Id appreciate it. Thanks

The ECU needs to be OBD 2 to work correctly for emissions.

I miss read your post - sorry. Your only swapping transmissions.
Your auto OBD2 ecu will work because it will be controlling nothing.
You may get a MIL (check engine light) w/ P0700 trans codes,
but should work fine. If you have enhanced emissions tests like
cali, pa,ny etc. The light being on will fail.
