Default 5SP Shifting Problems (W58) - not bushings, not loose

Experienced something weird going to lunch today.

I usually don't push my SC, but i shifter her from 1 to 2 around 6K rpm because i was in a rush to pick up some food

When I did the shift from 2-3 the shifter felt very strange-- it went into gear, but there was a bit of tension and some detectable slight vibrations in the shifter while going through the movements. The car gets into and out of all gears just fine, without any noises or grinding, but the tension is what worries me. It almost feels as if there is something pulling the shifter, keeping it from popping into gear smoothly.

My thoughts are:

Shifter Bushings (probably not, as these usually cause looseness and play in the shifter)

Shifter Assembly

Transmission Mounts

Tranny/Diff Fluid flush and fill (it's overdue)

Today was the first time I drove the car in about 5 weeks. I'm hoping it is nothing major since I still have to drive her about 15 miles to get home after work. Any thoughts on what to look at/address first will be greatly appreciated!

I would do the tranny/diff flush since its something you need to do anyways. I noticed a slight diffrence in my tranny when i went with redline fluid. It shifted a little smoother.

I'm going to be doing a NEO flush and fill on the diff and tranny this weekend and see if it helps.

It's not grinding or having any trouble getting into gear, so I'm hoping it is not the synchros.

Clutch is OK

two quick things i forgot about is how the fragile the input gears are on the w58 as they like to be shifted at the max torque on the engine curve. ofcoarse this isnt a full out proven statement but an observation when i worked at lexus. another thing that may be part of the problem was that the trans wasnt up to temp, was the temp gauge at normal operating temp? mine acts similarly when cold but when warm it acts like any other car. just some things to think about

I would like to know what is the problem of my car. When I put the gear to drive position the gear shifted to reverse position and then the brake also disfuctioned. After that the engine cannot start anymore.
What is the major problem here?
