Default Just got my sc300! with a raidiator question

Hey you all,
my name is John Park, and I just got a 95 SC300! I am a member on supraforums with a 94 supra TT(sf.com ID is JP) and I have always wanted to get a sc300 for a daily. after months of looking, I found a right one! So far, I love it, but when I checked for the coolant level, there were NONE then I found that it has a 2-3 inch naturally caused heat stress crack on the raidiator right below where the cap is. I tried to cover it with silicone, but didn't help. I am not sure if I can fix it "ghetto" way since the silicone didn't work. There are many more heat stress cracks around that part as well and when i push that part with my thumb while it's heated up, it pushes in and feels like i can break it if i push it hard enough.

NOW I assume i need a new radiator, but which one? I am just looking for a OEM replacement one right now since this is my daily. So, price matters too the cheaper the better. which brand do you guys recommend? I see that many people get KOYO....are these any good and do they bolt right on our sc300's without any mods? where does the fan go that is behind the radiator then?(I ask, because when i saw a pic of sc300 with KOYO raidiator didn't have the stock fan anymore) sorry I am not that much of a mechanic.

any info would be greatly appreicated.
thanks in advance you all!
JP

Check with local radiator shops for their recommendations. New products are being introduced all the time. Radiators are their business and they are usually eager to share information.

I bought a new metal radiator from radiatorbarn.com for abot $120 shipped. Might want to try there.

Also, if you want to fix the radiator "ghetto style", then you can use JB weld.

Supra TT radiators will work. On the other hand, the SC300 radiator cools just fine (ebanks had 900+ hp and never overheated).
