More A/C Trouble
I think I finally tracked down my A/C issue.
My A/C clutch appears to be broken. I ran power to it directly from the battery and it will not engage. A check of the A/C diagnostics gives me code 00. When I press the A/C button, the engine idle dips, but the A/C will not engage and the green light begins to flash after a few seconds.
Does anyone have experience w/ swapping in an A/C clutch?
Is it particularly difficult?
I see how to get at the compressor/clutch (remove radiator, fan shroud, intercooler piping, serpentine belt, etc.), I'm just curious if the clutch comes right off and can be replaced with a used or remanufactured unit.
Any tips, advice, or instructions would be appreciated.
