New guy with a few questions about afc/gas mileage on my 1jz sc300
Hey im new here, i just purchased a 97 sc300 with a 1jz. It has the basic mods including intake, downpipe, and full 3" exhaust and is running 12lbs. I went through an entire tank of gas and did not get into boost at all and it only got 255 miles. I knew something was not right so i checked the afc settings. The low throttle settings are at +20 at 1000 rpm, +13 at 2000, and 0 the rest of the time. When you adjust the 1000 rpm setting to anything below +10 the car will die immediately. Any idea why this would occur? Im installing a wideband this week to check on the a/f ratios. Also, do you think this is contributing to the horrible gas mileage? Thanks a lot.

im in knoxville. I have checked out both of those sites before, they have some good info. Im mainly trying to solve my gas mileage issue. It just doesnt make sense why its so horrible when there is not any fuel added except 1000 and 2000 rpm.
