Default SC400 radiator info

My 95 SC400 radiator now leaks at the top where the plastic header tank mounts to the aluminum core. Can these be repaired? I received a used unit yesterday and although it was damaged I noticed it was all metal. When did Lexus go to the the alum/plastic radiators?

as it turns out it looks like the OEM rads are ALL plastic/metal construction.

The aftermarket ones are metal. Was news to me

Would anyone know if a 97 SC400 radiator will fit a 95 SC400? Seems like aftermarket fitments follow a 91-95 while others are 91-97. I have found a 97, and am hoping it will fit but pics of it are lousy.

Can anyone confirm 97 SC400 radiator compatiblity in a 95 SC400 model car?

No many people would have the opportunity to install a 97 radiator in a 95...

If in doubt, get a 95 compatable radiator.

Maybe not too many casual SC400 owners, but there seems to be plenty of SC400 experts here that are familiar with the design changes through the 90 models that should be able to speak to that.

Screw it, I should probably just go buy an aftermarket for $150 but I found a really nice 1997 online for cheap

Thanks in advance
Mike
